About the Site

Behind Blue Eyes opened its doors on Sept 1st, 2010 but was being created since May of 2010 after months of hard work, by Andrea & Hayley it was finally time to reveal the site to the public.

We opened this site hoping to be different then the rest, offering an extensive amount of content to fans with detailed information, providing you all with the latest. It is our goal to support Ian and not only make us happy but all of his fans as well.

You will also notice unlike a lot of other sites we decided to go different with the name, at first we wanted Ian Somerhalder Network but shortly after we started to build a site popped up with that name, so we had to put our thinking caps on and get creative something we know another Ian site wouldn’t have, so we got Behind Blue Eyes, have you ever looked at Ian’s eyes? They are just gorgeous and Ian has been not only one hell of an actor but an amazing person, did you see what he has done for the Gulf he gave us all a look at what was Behind those Blue Eyes, he is truly in an inspiration to us and fans all over!
